Spruced Up

Over the weekend I attended the 2013 Spruce Meadows “Masters” Tournament where the world’s top show jumping athletes competed. It was a lovely event even though the weather was a bit of a drab. The rainy forecast did not dampen the spirits and performance of the athletes and the majestic horses.

Due to the few days of overcast and rain I was able to experiment with my Fall/Winter pieces and I love the idea of using a bold and colourful scarf with a black (or any shade of grey)  jacket.

hey if you don’t mind helping me out: how did you get your hair done? I’m 21 and have Indian hair so I’m sure you can share in my trials and woes haha. I’ve meaning to a sort of ombre type thing but a little scared to completely on the blonde side. Any suggestions? The only time I’ve colored my hair has been from the box to get an auburn. That was such a fail that you can only see the color on my head, in the sun…at a certain angle..if my hair is parted a certain way. so help appreciated thanks!

Yes of course 🙂 I would definitely recommend some highlights instead of colouring your whole head blonde. First the hairstylist will bleach it and then the they will usually use a toner to tone it down to a light brown(which pretty much lokes blonde). Tell them to not put thick highlights in your hair- tell them to just do highlights over your hair in tiny strands. I hope this helps! Xx
